What is Faith?

All the verses below speak of faith. With each verse shows us belief and actions that came from that belief.

Faith is our belief and actions

To simply believe or to simple act is not what the Lord wants from us.

He wants us to first believe, and then put those beliefs into action.

Mat 9:2

And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.

Mat 9:22

But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Mat 14:31

And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Mat 17:20

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Gal 3:14

That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Eph 1:15

Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

Col 1:4

Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,
